Don’t feel like paying $100 to watch the Mayweather-McGregor fight on pay-per-view? Fear not! There is another option. Watch the fight at your local movie theater! Fathom Events has partnered with Mayweather Promotions to bring the fight and the accompanying undercard to movie theaters around the country. The show in the theater will be exactly the same as the programming that pay-per-view buyers will receive.

Mayweather commented:

“The buzz that my fight against Conor McGregor is getting has been great already, so what better way to watch this larger than life event than on the big screen? We brought boxing back to movie theaters eight years ago and it was a huge success, but this event is on a different level and I’m so glad we are giving fans another way to see all the action. Grab your popcorn because this is a fight no one will want to miss.”

Mayweather has brought many of his fights to the silver screen before. If you want to feel like you’re ringside, then the theater may be your best bet for this fight!

Ticket prices will vary by theater, but Fathom claims the event tickets should be on sale for around $40 apiece. The Fathom website has a list of the theaters that will be participating in the event. Is it worth the $40 to see the fight on the big screen? You decide!
