In a recent interview, Jeremy Lin stated that he believed that Asian men have an uphill battle when it comes to masculinity and athleticism. The answers occurred on an Asian ESPN affiliate, after he had been asked about the play of Zhou Qi and Ding Yanyuhang in summer league. Lin went on to state that he’s very happy that more Asians are playing ball, and that he hopes they perform well.

Lin went on to state that Asians are viewed poorly in the U.S. when it comes to sports and dating. He said that he hopes things will change, and that these new players will help to bring that change about.
