The Super Bowl is arguably the biggest sporting event in the world, attracting over 100 million viewers worldwide, but with the average ticket price of Super Bowl LI coming in just shy of 5 grand, it isn’t exactly the easiest to attend.

However, for some avid fans, no price is too high to be able to witness history in the making live in person. Thankfully, even if you missed the big game in Houston, there are still plenty of don’t-miss sporting events in 2017.

Mark your calendar, because these are the biggest and the best left this year:

The Grand National

On April 8th, the hallmark of Britain’s rich culture, The Grand National, will take place at Aintree.

An upwards of 40 horses will compete on a four-mile track jumping over 16 fences in one of the world’s greatest horse racing events for hefty prize money and a place in the history.

The Masters

This year, millions of golfing enthusiasts will be tuned into their TVs from April 6-9th and thousands more will descend upon Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia to watch what is considered to be the greatest major tournament in the sport.

In its 84th year, the competition will feature golf’s brightest young stars and highly respected veterans vying for a chance to┬áslip on a green jacket and have their names entered into the annals as “Masters Champion.”

There may be four grand slam tennis tournaments, but the most watched, prestigious, and heralded is Wimbledon.

Taking place from July 3-16th, spectators from all over the globe will travel to the All England Club in London to witness a glimpse of the best tennis of the year.
