It was a phenomenal day. Roger Federer was gearing up for battle against Marin Cilic in the Wimbledon’s Men’s Singles Finals. Just in case you didn’t know, that’s the big one.
Federer suited up that day for battle. Sneakers? Check! Racquets? Check!
The family got suited up like they were going to church. Roger’s wife, Mirka, got the sets of twins ready. That’s right! They have two sets of twins. The first to come were the girls Myla Rose and Charlene Riva. Then they had the boys Leo and Lenny.
The round of twins doesn’t stop there. Do you know Roger Federer’s sister also has a set of twins? What is in the water they drink?
The Huge Federer Family With The Two Sets Of Twins
So, the family was court side while Federer and Cilic battled on the court. Federer swept it in three sets and won his eighth Wimbledon title. It was his 19th grand slam overall. It was an amazing story. His wife was cheering and his daughters were clapping.
But, the boys? What were they doing? They didn’t know what was going on. They were staring at the huge playground in front of them and wondering when their dad was going to quit hogging it all. Leo and Lenny were staring at all the balls on the court wondering why they couldn’t touch any.
Federer Wins Again In Amazing Sweep
It’s really not fair to take kids to such a huge patch of perfectly treated grass and force them to watch other people play. They have so many balls out on the court. Why can’t they let the kids play with a few of them?
It was tragic really, but Roger Federer summed it up perfectly, “they don’t have a clue what’s going on. They think it is a nice view and a nice playground.” At least, he wasn’t too broken up over the fact that his sons didn’t care. The fact is they didn’t know.
